Anduril 2 Flashlights & Control Map
Anduril 2 is open-source flashlight firmware. Lights using it share a core interaction model, but the exact feature set and defaults can vary by manufacturer, hardware target, and firmware revision.
Core interaction model
| From | Gesture | Common behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Off | 1C | Turn on at memorized brightness |
| Off | 1H | Start at the floor / moon level and ramp if held |
| Off | 2C | High / ceiling; turbo behavior is configurable |
| Off | 3C | Battery check |
| Off | 4C | Lockout |
| Simple UI / Off | 10H | Enter Advanced UI |
| Advanced UI / Off | 10C | Return to Simple UI |
| On | 1H / 2H | Ramp brightness up / down |
Common capabilities include smooth and stepped ramping, automatic/manual/hybrid memory, lockout, battery and temperature utilities, configurable thermal regulation, strobe/mood modes, and version checking. Aux LED behavior is hardware-dependent.
Tracked lights using Anduril 2
- Wurkkos TS10 V2 — compact 14500 tail-switch light with RGB aux.
- Wurkkos TS11 — compact thrower with a different optical and battery system.
- Sofirn IF25A 4000K — larger 21700 multi-emitter light.
TS10 V2-specific details
ToyKeeper's firmware registry identifies the normal TS10 RGB-aux target as model 0713 on an attiny1616. A separate 0712 reduced-FET target exists for some lower-Vf LED revisions from mid-2024 onward. The reduced-power build is important: the firmware repository warns that affected hardware can damage its LEDs if flashed with the full-power RGB-aux target.
Wurkkos' shared Anduril configuration also enables an extended Simple UI, a Simple-UI smooth/stepped-ramp toggle, and soft factory reset support. These are examples of why “uses Anduril 2” is useful but not sufficient by itself.
